A deep feeling of gratitude leads me to recount what Christian Science has done for me and mine.

In 1926 I learned of Christian Science, and through the help of a loving practitioner I learned the truth of being as taught in Christian Science and was soon able to apply it in all life's problems.

With a grateful heart I acknowledge that Christian Science has freed me from serious mental suffering. Through certain circumstances I was so depressed mentally that I had tried three times to put an end to my life. While I was in this distress Christian Science crossed my path and taught me the truth, and the truth made me free, as Jesus said that it would two thousand years ago. I also laid aside my glasses and can read everything without them. So I have every reason to be deeply grateful to God and to Christian Science that I too have found the Christ-way.
