Christian Science has brought me many healings, a better understanding of God and man, and more peace, patience, charity, and tolerance. For many years divine Love has been my only physician. Thirty years ago I was dangerously ill, the doctors giving very little hope of my recovery. I knew very little of Christian Science, but felt it was my only hope, so asked for a practitioner. As soon as she entered my room I felt the presence of Love and fell asleep. When I awakened I found myself healed.

I am very grateful to God and to Mrs. Eddy, our revered Leader, for this healing, and for all of Mrs. Eddy's writings, for The Christian Science Monitor, the other periodicals, Reading Rooms, Sunday school, Publishing Society, the consecrated practitioners, and the Board of Directors of The Mother Church.
