I feel the time has fully come for me to add my testimony to the loving and helpful testimonies which I have read in the Christian Science Sentinel for over twenty-seven years. Through the understanding of our loving Father-Mother God I have demonstrated that Christian Science is preventive as well as curative. I have not had to lose one day's work through sickness in all these years. By the grace and help of God I have been able to overcome many trials and temptations. The financial problem at times has been very severe, but as I have put my trust in God He has been, as He promised, a very present help in the time of need. Before taking up the study of Christian Science I did not enjoy very good health, but it was not for physical healing that I came into Christian Science. My wife was healed through reading an article in the Sentinel. She was to have undergone an operation for cancer, but after reading the article she did not need the operation. I had never heard of Science when we bought the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, but I had not read far before I was convinced that it was the truth.

I am demonstrating daily that God, divine Love, is directing me in all I undertake to do. I know He is ever watching over me and is ever present with me.

Some time ago I had a wonderful demonstration. After I had cashed two cheques, on a very wet day, the money was lost. I revisited the stores where shopping had been done, but did not locate the missing money, and then started for home declaring that love's currency could not be lost. When I arrived home, my wife and I searched my clothing and umbrella with no result; but by my holding to the truth, the money was found on the fifth day.
