The study and application of Christian Science have given...

The study and application of Christian Science have given me much cause for sincere gratitude. I am most grateful to our inspired Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for so lovingly and unselfishly revealing the healing power of Truth again to the world. In times of trouble, regardless of name or nature, when I humbly and sincerely reached out for the guiding, healing, and sustaining hand of Love, it never failed me. I was reared in the Christian Science Sunday School and am very thankful for having had this privilege, because it certainly gave me a correct start in life.

Mrs. Eddy states in the Manual of The Mother Church (Art. VIII, Sect. 14), "It shall be the privilege and duty of every member, who can afford it, to subscribe for the periodicals which are the organs of this Church." This literature is truly something which I do not like to be without, because it gives me daily food for thought.

I have had many beautiful healings in Christian Science. The one foremost in my consciousness is the wonderful protection I received at childbirth and during the previous months, through the loving and untiring help of a faithful practitioner. It gives me much joy to know that our young son also has this never-failing truth to rely on.

At a time when I was away from home and not situated so that I could attend church services, I was most grateful that I could turn on my radio and hear the services, and many times the lectures.

I am increasingly grateful for class instruction and for the annual Association meetings. I am also grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for the privilege of serving in the Sunday school.—(Mrs.) Lillie Grote Gibson, San Antonio, Texas.
