Blessed Are They

JOY BENNETT

Blessed are they who trust in God,
Casting all fears away,
Relying on His staff and rod
To guide them day by day;

Knowing with perfect confidence
He doth supply each need;
Rising above material sense,
Seeing false fears recede.

Blessed are they who, truly meek,
Ascribe all power and might
To God, while earnestly they seek
To see His guiding light;

Knowing that they reflect that light,
Express that Love and power;
Held perfect always in His sight,
Trusting Him hour by hour.
