Out of gratitude for the blessings which I have been privileged to experience in Christian Science I should like to give this testimony.

About four years ago, while I was at my work, I had what from a human standpoint was a serious accident. I came in contact with a high voltage current, and fell from a height of six meters to the street. In a most hopeless condition—with a fractured skull as well as injuries to my back—I was taken to the hospital. My wife immediately informed a Christian Science practitioner, who lovingly took up the work.

The error was apparently insurmountable. For days I lay in a delirious fever, and on top of all this, inflammation of the lungs set in. My relatives were told to prepare for the expected end. Instead of the end, however, there came in the hour of crisis a turn for the better, which rapidly increased, to the amazement of the doctors. Four weeks later I was so far recovered that I could get up, and in another three weeks I was released. During my seven weeks' stay in the hospital there was no surgical operation, nor were any drugs used. During the whole period of my difficulty I had only the loving help of the practitioner; the doctors merely observed the stages of my recovery.
