"The children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone." Why? He had been talking with God. And the glory of the Most High that had shone upon him in those sacred hours was reflected when he came back to his people; like the moon lighting night from the sun far beyond. He did not know his face was all aglow, but could it have been otherwise? ... He who lingers long with God and His works reveals his association hourly. His creation of beauty and glory becomes a living thing to him, changing his entire nature and outlook.
