On the King's Highway

We will walk with joy on the King's highway,
Where the light is shining clear;
Where the winds of God blow fresh and free,
And we feel His presence near.

We will walk in peace on the King's highway,
For the Prince of Peace is there;
There the dragon's foot shall never tread,
Nor the lion make his lair.

We will walk in love on the King's highway,
With the ransomed of the Lord;
And with them we'll pluck unfading flowers,
That spring from the wayside sward.

There are angel guides on the King's highway;
To our hearts they whisper this,
The King's highway is the way of Life,
And leads to eternal bliss.
