Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

The Portland News-Telegram is inserting our lectures in full. In addition to other advertising of our lectures, branches of The Mother Church have authorized ample newspaper advertising of our textbook in standard form and also in Braille. Newspapers throughout the state have shown a very friendly attitude and co-operate in the insertion of our lectures. Twelve newspapers outside of Portland published the full lecture and six others published at least one thousand words. The Christian Science Monitor is greatly appreciated, as there were 286 reprints of news items used. In addition there were 287 clippings from Oregon papers mentioning Mrs. Eddy or Christian Science, which were forwarded to Boston. In those places where we have no church organization, there are forty-one country newspapers advertising the Monitor in exchange for a subscription to it.
