Spiritual Consciousness Heals
An experienced student of Christian Science met a mother and her child on the street. The mother, who was somewhat interested in Christian Science, began to tell the student about an obnoxious and persistent physical manifestation which had appeared upon the child's leg. While the mother was talking, the student, primarily for protection, as she too was a mother, silently denied the reality of the condition, mentally rejecting it, and realizing the spiritual perfection of God's children. That evening the mother telephoned to the student, saying: "A wonderful thing has happened. When
I reached home, I looked at my child's leg and found it was perfectly healed."
