Good Is Ever Present
The Scriptures teach that God is omnipresent. Christian Science not only explains this fundamental statement, but also shows the effect of clear comprehension of this profound truth in solving the problems which confront mankind. Christian Science illumines Christ Jesus' theology; it is practical, and Christianly scientific.
Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, declares (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 473): "The God-principle is omnipresent and omnipotent. God is everywhere, and nothing apart from Him is present or has power." Because God is omnipresent, Christian Science affirms that good must necessarily be ever present, for God is infinite good. In proportion as this truth is understood, assimilated, and utilized, good must and does manifest itself in our character and our lives.
But is materiality our highest concept of good? Harmony, peace, and the joy of sharing these blessings are not attained through an accumulation of material riches. Should we, then, listen and be discouraged when mortal sense says we are making slow progress, because there is still a limited material supply?
