I am grateful with all my heart for the wonderful healings which my relatives and I have received through Christian Science.

One morning in the winter of 1922 I was attacked by the grippe. Because I thought myself strong and healthy I went outdoors in bad weather. Then I became deaf in the left ear; I felt as though all my illness had moved up into the head. The ear and a swollen neck which I had had for thirty years were treated by electricity and massage. The doctor tried everything imaginable, and there was some improvement, for which I was very glad. But after two and a half years he told me that the deafness was incurable, for it was due to calcification and also to enlargement of the thyroid glands, which were pressing from both sides on the windpipe. Even in 1916 a physician told me that the neck would later become still larger.

But now, with the help of a kind practitioner, I have been liberated from all these complaints through Christian Science, which has restored to us Christ Jesus' method of healing. After I had attended two evening services a few years ago, the noises in my head disappeared. Since that year headaches, which I had had from earliest childhood, as well as attacks of dizziness, have disappeared as though swept away. Through the power of divine Love a condition of chilblains has also disappeared. Also I had occasion to witness the beautiful healing of my nephew after he received serious injuries in an accident.
