Giving

Give, ever give,
And never mind the getting.
Give, freely give,
All thought of self forgetting.
Compassion, meekness, gratitude—
By these men live,
And not by bread, the Master said,
Who lived to give.

Love, ever love,
For Love is ever giving.
Think, speak, act love,
For love is all of living.
This troubled world needs all the joy
We have to give—
Reflections of that healing Love
By which men live.
