An occasion for rejoicing is the uniting of two Christian Science churches in Sioux City, Iowa, whose members decided a few months ago to work together as one body. In 1912 the second group of Christian Scientists holding services in that city became a branch of The Mother Church as a recognized society. Three years later it became Second Church of Christ, Scientist, Sioux City. Now the two branches of The Mother Church, by decision of their members, have united as First Church of Christ, Scientist, retaining the charter received by that church in 1894.
