It is with heartfelt gratitude that I testify to the healing power of Christian Science. I took up its study over eighteen years ago, when the way looked very dark before me. My first healing was of stings by yellow jackets. I had stepped into the nest hidden by weeds and was stung severely about the ankles. I ran into the house to tell the Scientist with whom I was staying, and through her work I was instantaneously healed. A few weeks later I suffered from a toothache all night, so in the morning I called a practitioner. The pain left while I was talking to her, and that is the last severe toothache I have ever had.

I had wanted to go to high school, but everything seemed against me until I began studying Christian Science; then the way opened for me to go, and this Science was a wonderful help to me in my schoolwork.

After a few years error presented itself in the form of pride and worldly pleasures, and I dropped my study of Christian Science for a while. Then trouble and discord seemed to engulf me, until I was forced to turn again to Christian Science and radically rely upon it for help. With the help of practitioners and through my own earnest study I have been healed both physically and morally. Nervous disorders, septic sore throat, influenza, discouragement, fear, and unhappiness were overcome. Pride and selfishness are giving way to love and consideration for others. Over six years ago I was faced with the problem of unemployment, but with the help of a practitioner this problem was solved very quickly, so that during all the so-called depression I have had a good position.
