From one who has received so many blessings through the study and practice of Christian Science this testimony goes forth with a great desire to help others who may be struggling to overcome discordant conditions, whether they be of sin or disease. For many years I had been a sufferer from eczema in a very severe form, and had tried every method of healing known to meet the condition, although physicians told me it would always return and was seemingly incurable. After seeing a very remarkable healing take place in my family, also considered incurable by the best physicians, I turned unreservedly to Christian Science, destroying two medicine closets filled with the many so-called remedies my husband and I had used with only temporary results. The healing of eczema was very slow, but in the meantime other proofs of God's healing power were shown to me in the healing of disease and disagreeable traits of character. The thought expressed in the Bible, "The word of God is quick, and powrful," set me to searching my consciousness, hoping to realize complete healing of the ailment which was still causing me distress. A statement of Mrs. Eddy's in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 419), "A moral question may hinder the recovery of the sick," uncovered to my thought two traits of character which would have to be replaced by love, namely, resentment and sensitiveness. I earnestly set to work to eliminate both false qualities, and with the healing of these came calmness of thought and purpose and perfect healing of that which had caused irritation and eruption.

Twenty years have passed since my first healing in Christian Science, during which time I have never had recourse to any other method of healing, either for myself or for my family. Blessings of abundance of health, happiness, and harmony in every known way have come to me and mine, enabling me to share this blessed truth with others, thereby glorifying God by thought and deed. Words can never express my gratitude for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for her selflessness and her love for all mankind, all of which have led me and mine to seek the way our Master set for us and to follow his example as it unfolds to our consciousness. I am indeed grateful for the activities of The Mother Church, for class instruction, and for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church.—(Mrs.) Florine Kahn Manheim, Beverly Hills, California.
