Christian Science has brought into my life so much of good, of peace, joy, and health that a statement of some of the blessings it has brought to me should no longer be withheld.

I was always considered a delicate child, and throughout my childhood and girlhood was hampered and often incapacitated by lack of strength and by functional disorders, thought to be due to scarlet fever in my infancy and typhoid fever some years later. After my marriage, the care of a home and children seemed beyond my strength, and after several years of weary effort to keep up and carry on, my difficulties culminated in a nervous breakdown.

For nearly a year I was under constant medical treatment and spent some time at the seashore, in the mountains, and in a sanatorium, but finally returned home discouraged and without hope of being able to live a normal life again. At this time a friend told me about a wonderful healing her husband had just experienced through Christian Science from a severe case of varicose veins of many years' standing. Although I considered myself bitterly opposed to Christian Science, because of a previous experience, I decided to ask the practitioner through whom this healing had come, to do what he could for me, though I had little faith that I should be helped. I was completely healed in one week. Only one who has been liberated from the bondage of that particular disease can fully understand my joy and gratitude for this beautiful healing.
