By submitting this testimony I should like to express my great gratitude for Mrs. Eddy's wisdom in establishing the Sunday school, and my joy that all my children have had the privilege of attending it from an early age. I should like to tell something of how wonderfully they have thereby grown into the truth.

One day, in the summer of 1934, my little ten-year-old daughter was playing with a schoolmate in a field near our house. Their rubber ring caught in the branches of a chestnut tree, and when they threw something after it, a piece of iron, which also must have become caught there, fell and made a deep cut in my daughter's upper thigh. Without saying anything, she ran to the house. When I saw her coming, I noticed at once that something must have taken place, for she was extremely pale.

We were having visitors just then, and she drew me into the house, simply saying: "I should like to be quite alone with you. Something has happened, but I declared the truth right away, and it does not hurt at all. Oh, I am so glad and grateful that I have Christian Science!" As we were going upstairs she leaned on my arm at first; but right away she thought better of it, and in a few bounds she was at the top of the stairs. There she threw her arms around me and said how grateful and glad she was to know the truth. When we reached the bathroom she said, "I do not want to look at the error at all; you wash bandage the leg for me, and I will look away."
