About eleven years ago, after years of suffering, I was instantaneously healed through Christian Science of bodily neuralgia. Some months later rheumatoid arthritis, for which I had absent treatment, simply faded away and I was free.

Within the past six years my nephews and I have received many healings through a practitioner's consecrated work. Amongst these healings were those of consumption of the throat (in a few days), torn ligaments, a poisoned hand—when my friends and neighbors thought I should lose my arm and perhaps my life—influenza, colds, bronchitis, and poisoning. The healing of bodily poisoning was considered a miracle. Supposedly I had been at "death's door" for six hours when a Christian Science practitioner was called to my home. Within an hour, through his consecrated work, I fell asleep, and awakened, healed. This case was a remarkable proof to me of the efficacy of Christian Science treatment. These healings have changed the thought of many who were opposed to Science, one of whom since witnessing the healing, without pain, of a poisoned hand, has become my friend.
