With a heart full of joy and thanksgiving for the multitude...
With a heart full of joy and thanksgiving for the multitude of blessings received through the study and application of Christian Science, I desire to tell of some of my healings.
At one time a heavy timber fell from some height, injuring the joint of one of my toes, turning the toe black and causing it to swell to twice its natural size. Fear was manifested by those around me, who predicted dire results unless I had medical attention. I wrote to a Christian Science practitioner, loving help was given, and in a few days the toe was completely healed.
A few years ago I awoke one morning in severe pain from ptomaine poisoning. I seemed unable to handle this condition alone, and had some fear of not being able to attend to important business that day. A practitioner in the building was called for treatment, and soon I was asleep In an hour I awoke, dressed, and attended to the business at hand, all pain having vanished. Once before, when similar symptoms were manifested, medical aid was resorted to and I was unable to do anything for several weeks.
