Christian Science has been my only physician all my life, and I have had countless opportunities to prove its healing efficacy, both by my own efforts and with the help of a Christian Science practitioner.

Quite suddenly one day I developed a skin disease. My face and head were covered with sores and the pain was intense. I was too filled with fear to be able to work for myself and sought the aid of a Christian Science practitioner. The healing was a beautiful unfoldment. We held to the truth steadfastly, and very often in the midst of pain I was able to sing some of the beautiful hymns contained in the Christian Science Hymnal. They had a wonderful healing influence. The sores and pains disappeared without leaving a scar or spot to show where they had been, thus fulfilling the Bible prophecy, "Then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot."

I have also been healed of fits of mental depression which made me cry without my knowing the reason; I could not stop myself. I have been healed of biliousness and flatulency. These two healings took place when I studied, with the aid of the Concordance to our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," all that Mrs. Eddy says about food. Since then I have no longer been afraid to eat certain foods, but have eaten whatever I have felt inclined to, without having any ill effects. With the aid of a Christian Science practitioner I was healed of St. Vitus's dance. I have also experienced healings of chicken pox, scarlet fever, influenza, colds, measles, mumps, and frequent headaches.
