In the book of Psalms we read, "Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart." Christian Science teaches that God's law is always and entirely good. As St. Paul expresses it in his epistle to the Romans, it is "that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God;" and Christian Science, through its inspired teachings, imparts the spiritual understanding which enables one to keep God's law in the overcoming of all that is unlike good, whatever its nature.
