Liberating Judgment

Perhaps no factor in daily experience is so conspicuous as that of judgment, whether in home, business, or social life, national or international relations. Christian Science presents the clue to human problems through the application of spiritual, true judgment.

Christ Jesus said to the people of his day, "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." This saying of his coincides with God's law of irrevocable perfection, and he proved its practicality. Those who, according to appearances, had been adjudged sick and sinful, mentally deranged, leprous, blind, dumb, Christ Jesus liberated through the power of infinite Truth, which cognizes nothing afflictive, nothing unworthy of blessedness. True, the master Christian rebuked pride, hypocrisy, doubt, and demanded of those who sought his aid faith, sincerity, humility. Wherever Jesus ministered, there blessing rested as the fruit of righteous judgment.

It is the same with the ministry of Christian Science; its judgment conveys the unwavering beneficence of divine Love. Duly understood and practiced, this judgment is found to rule out sin, lift the oppression of fear, banish sorrow, and call into expression righteousness, serenity, health. "The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed."
