I can no longer refrain from expressing gratitude for...

I can no longer refrain from expressing gratitude for healings experienced as a result of the application of the teachings of Christian Science, as taught by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, through Science and Health and her other writings.

My first healing took place over twenty years ago, when I was healed of tuberculosis in a few months, wholly through the efforts of a practitioner, after I had been pronounced incurable. Ten years later a goiter was removed, entirely through mental surgery. Another outstanding healing was that of cancer. I am grateful for these healings, all of which have been permanent, and no sacrifice would be considered too great to pay my debt of gratitude for all the blessings that have been mine.

Membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, class instruction, and the Christian Science periodicals bring joy into my experience not only daily, but hourly. This beautiful truth enables me to realize that in God "we live, and move, and have our being," uninterrupted and unimpaired.
