Inseparability

Dear Father, wheresoe'er Thou art
There I must be,
As sunbeam to the glowing sun
Am I to Thee.

My Father could'st Thou never be,
Were I not here
Thy likeness pure, reflecting Thee,
Forever near.

No longer weary and afraid,
Where'er I roam
From Thee I know I cannot stray;
I am at home.

At home with Thee—at peace alway,
I am content;
Held in Thy law of love, which is
Omnipotent.
