Today

JOHN WHITE

This is the day the Lord hath made—
Blest revelation,
That each glad moment unafraid
Holds our salvation.

Now, stand we in the holy place
This sacred hour;
Here, God's own people see His face
And feel His power.

Happy, who in the path today
Follow God's guiding,
Happy, who in the present way
Know Love's providing.

This is the day for fret to cease,
Since He enfoldeth:
For in the realm of heavenly peace
He naught withholdeth!
