The station announcer said: Good afternoon, Ladies and Gentlemen: It is Columbia's pleasure to present another program in the sixth consecutive year of the "Church of the Air" series. The service today is coming to you from Station CFRB, Toronto, and is approved by The Christian Science Board of Directors of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. The broadcast is conducted by Reay C. Van der Voort, First Reader of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Toronto. The subject of Mr. Van der Voort's address is "The Gospel of the Kingdom." Music will be furnished by Wishart Campbell, soloist, assisted by Ruby Ramsey Rouse at the organ. We now give the service into the hands of Mr. Van der Voort.

Hymn No. 128 from the Christian Science Hymnal was sung. Mr. Van der Voort then read an address substantially as follows:

Friends: In behalf of Christian Scientists, I wish to thank the Columbia Broadcasting System for this opportunity to extend a loving greeting to all listeners. We have a warm feeling toward our friends in this varied audience, for the majority of present-day Christian Scientists were drawn from the many walks of life represented by this large, unseen assemblage.
