I am so grateful for Christian Science that I wish to relate the healing of my husband, which brought us both into Christian Science.

About three years ago he was suddenly taken very ill, so seriously ill that after he had spent a month in bed, with no improvement, the doctors felt it best to move him to the hospital for blood transfusions. During all this time he kept getting worse; he could not speak, move, or eat, and was suffering intense pain in the head and kidneys. Finally, his whole system seemed to stop working. The doctors were most kind in their efforts to help him, but after he had spent three weeks in the hospital, with consultations and two blood transfusions, he was brought home with three nurses, with no hope that he could live.

During all this siege I knew there was a power that could heal. When, two days after my husband's return home, the doctor told me it was the end, I said: "God will lead me. We are now ready to prove the power of God."
