My greatest reason for writing this testimony is my joy and gratitude for the glorious privilege of sending my little boy, aged five, to the Christian Science Sunday School. I am awakening to the fact that in giving Christian Science to my beloved ones I am giving them the most valuable and precious gift I could wish to give them.

Only a mother can appreciate the protection which Christian Science affords in bringing up children. I am happy to say that my boy has been kept entirely free from so-called children's diseases. He loves to go to Sunday school, and his understanding of the truth is sometimes a help to me. Recently, I asked him not to open the door before I got to it, as someone might come whom I did not wish to admit. The child responded, "Oh, no, mama, there couldn't be, because God couldn't send anyone like that." His childish trust and understanding filled my heart with such joy and gratitude that it healed me of a depressed feeling which had seemed real for several days. For this experience I am very grateful.

Eight years ago, while attending a Christian Science lecture, I was healed of a severe pain in my left side that had troubled me every spring and fall for several years. This healing has been permanent. I have also had other healings, for which I am grateful.
