Mary Baker Eddy on Government

The Christian Science Board of Directors desire to draw attention to the following: Mary Baker Eddy on Government

"God has endowed man with inalienable rights, among which are self-government, reason, and conscience" (Science and Health, p. 106).

"Without a proper system of government and form of action, nations, individuals, and religion are unprotected" (Church Manual, Art. I, Sect. 9).

"I am asked, 'What are your politics?' I have none, in reality, other than to help support a righteous government; to love God supremely, and my neighbor as myself" (Miscellany, p. 276).
