I am deeply grateful for Christian Science
I am deeply grateful for Christian Science. Through the study and application of its teachings I have experienced many healings. I am also grateful to the practitioner who lovingly assisted me in times of need, especially at the birth of our little boy. Were it not for the practitioner's clear understanding of the omnipotence of God's law and the impotence of the so-called laws of matter, I should not be here today, according to the physician's statement.
When the time of delivery had arrived, the doctor informed me that on account of organic deformities it would be impossible for me to have a natural childbirth, and that the child would have to be taken away by a surgical operation. The physician advised my husband to take me at once to the hospital for that purpose. However, I had learned to turn to God for help in every difficulty and therefore decided to rely on Him alone, welcoming this opportunity to prove once again that He is the great Physician and surgeon, to whom all things are possible. The practitioner was informed of the doctor's findings, each of which was reversed by establishing in consciousness God's laws; by keeping constantly in thought the perfection, normality, and harmony of man's true self, as the image and likeness of God. The following morning the physician, to his great amazement, found that the structural deformity was entirely corrected and straightened out, and by midnight I gave birth to a healthy boy in a natural, normal way. The physician called me "a lucky woman," stating that in his twenty-eight years of experience he had never seen such deformed organs, and that the physical adjustments which had taken place, making a normal birth possible, were beyond his comprehension.
I am grateful beyond words to our Father-Mother God and to our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for this priceless gift, Christian Science.
