I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for what it has done for me and mine.

We have experienced many healings, but two stand out especially. Our little girl had been oiling her roller skates and had left the oil can standing on the basement steps. Going down to the basement, I stepped on the oil can and it penetrated my slipper, going into my foot. I called my husband and he pulled the can out. The foot began to swell and hurt much, and for twenty-four hours it ached considerably, but with the help of a Christian Science practitioner, it was well again in two days. At another time, when our boy was walking along an elevated railroad track with some other boys, he fell and struck his head on the sidewalk, which left him unconscious. The other boys hailed a passing car and the driver took him to the nearest hospital. I was notified, and when I reached the hospital he was still unconscious. A practitioner was called, and after four hours the boy regained consciousness and asked for me. Work was continued. The doctor in charge considered that the boy was seriously hurt, as there was a fracture of the skull. The doctor and nurse both feared that it might leave him mentally impaired, if he got well. All of this was told to the practitioner. Through the work of the latter he recovered rapidly, and could have come home in a week, but the doctor would not have it so; therefore he stayed ten days. He is completely well, and gets along excellently with his schoolwork.
