Thirty-two years ago Christian Science was presented to me for the healing of my son of kidney trouble, but I was not ready to be obedient to the loving aid that was awaiting me. Needless to say, there was no healing at that time. Three years later, through great tribulation, I was willing to do anything necessary to receive help.

My husband was addicted to the drink habit in an aggravated form, and all the misery and heartbreak that such a habit brings to a family were brought to mine. As a dentist, he did his gold work over an alcohol flame, and the fumes of it were constantly present. It took twelve years to complete his healing, and for him to be free in every sense from his former bondage, but he was able to go on practicing dentistry under the conditions just mentioned without being disturbed.

I had just taken up the study of Christian Science in earnest for the former healing when our little daughter was stricken with scarlet fever in a malignant form. Under the care of two physicians a little son had been lost with that disease. I knew practically nothing of Christian Science, but was willing to trust God implicitly. The healing was instantaneous. Our daughter was put to bed at night and was free the next morning. After that healing twenty-nine years ago neither she nor I have ever used material remedies either internally or externally, and our healings have been too numerous to record.
