For the past seven years Christian Science has been the only physician for our four children and me. I am very grateful for this truth; and I feel that it was because of my honest, prayerful desire to do my part in caring for the children that I was led to begin the study of this Science and afterwards to continue in the battle with error.

In the past years measles, colds, a sprained wrist, a slight fracture of the skull, two extreme cases of bed wetting, a skin disease, and numerous illnesses that were not named have all been overcome for the children by the application of the truth alone. Also, the children have been helped many times in their schoolwork, either through the help of a practitioner or through my own realization of divine intelligence. I am grateful that they are learning that God is present to help them in any problem.

My first physical healing was of stomach trouble; then came a harmonious experience of childbirth through Science help. I am most grateful for the healing of blood poisoning in which the operation of Truth was proved. I want to express my gratitude for a practitioner's work at that time and for her help and encouragement in my first year's struggles to hold to the truth. I witnessed a healing of my mother through the help of a practitioner, when it seemed as if "the last enemy" were determined to win. It was through this same practitioner's help in Science that we were able to find a residence and lucrative employment for my husband. Although he does not study Christian Science, it has helped him many times, and he knows and acknowledges its healing power. At one time he was completely healed in a few days of a bad attack of quinsy.
