On page 372 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mrs. Eddy has written, "A just acknowledgment of Truth and of what it has done for us is an effectual help." With the hope that someone may be helped, I should like to say I have proved that the right application of Christian Science is effectual.

I was a very dissatisfied individual until I began to attend Christian Science services and to study Science and Health and other works by our beloved Leader. Very soon I found many friends, and my needs were met in most unexpected ways. I was lifted out of discordant surroundings; physical troubles yielded, lost articles were restored, and supply was demonstrated through my constantly and understandingly affirming the truth that man, as God's reflection, cannot be deprived of anything that belongs to him. On many occasions I have experienced healings, some of which have been instantaneous. Influenza, scalds, a poisoned finger, wasp stings, toothache, and biliousness are among the troubles that have disappeared.

I am very grateful to God; to Christ Jesus, our Exemplar; to our Leader; and to practitioners and friends who have many times given me help and encouragement; also for the quiet Christian Science Reading Rooms, in which many problems have been solved. For the privilege of membership in The Mother Church and a branch church and for class instruction, I am increasingly grateful.
