Six years ago, when I was given up by doctors, my family was told by the doctor who operated on me that there was no help for me but in Christian Science. The condition was one of pernicious anaemia.

I am very grateful to have been led to a practitioner who made it clear to me that God is the only Physician, and is always here. With her loving and patient help I was healed and have been able to prove and demonstrate the truth not only for myself, but for others.

Some time ago I was taken suddenly very ill with intestinal influenza, and was too sick to read; but what I had previously read in the Bible and Science and Health came to my rescue, for I did not lose consciousness and was grateful that I could think. Through the declaration and realization that God is here and is the only power, the ailment was overcome in a few hours. I am sincerely grateful for this proof of God's ever-present help; and it was a means of showing others what Christian Science can do.
