In thankfulness for the great help which I have received through Christian Science I gladly give this testimony. Before I knew of Science I suffered almost continually, and although I was treated by distinguished physicians, my condition grew no better. In the course of time I had three operations, two of which were especially severe and left me quite weak. I still had to resort to material means for treatment, for I did not know that God is the only Physician. When my suffering became very severe, and I called on God for help, a great desire came over me to see my youngest brother, who had been interested in Christian Science for some time. He gave me some idea of it, and advised me to go the next day to a practitioner. The latter lovingly revealed to me God's healing truth. After the first treatment I felt relief. I was physically renewed. Until then my body had long been hard and swollen, but after a few treatments I was freed of my suffering. Now and then doubt crept in, but each time I was able to brush it aside. My left hand is also normal again, after it had been doctored and constantly bandaged for twelve years.

I should like to express my gratitude to God for all these blessings, and to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has made the way, which Christ Jesus prepared, free and accessible to everyone.
