With deep and sincere gratitude I wish to give this testimony of the power of Christian Science to heal.

When this Science was first brought to my notice, about fifteen years ago, I accepted it at once as a very beautiful religion and immediately began to feel its healing, regenerating influence. Through the help of a practitioner I was healed of colds and of a constant cough which had forced me to spend a great deal of time in bed every winter. At intervals covering a period of three or four years I had suffered with very severe pains in the shoulders which, a doctor once explained to me, were caused by the joints being too loose, and he advised the use of braces as the only remedy. I did not follow his advice; but one day when the pain seemed too much to bear I called the practitioner who had helped me with the other problems, and again asked for help. As always, it was lovingly given, and I received relief almost at once. The trouble returned slightly for short intervals two or three times after this. I called a practitioner once more, and I have not been troubled since.

I am very grateful for these healings, because they eventually led me to a deeper, more profound study of Christian Science, and consequently to a greater understanding of God.
