Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

In the comments published by a few papers on the great variety of denominations and creeds in Netherlands India, as shown in a statistical publication, Christian Science appeared in the list.

A paper in Deli (Sumatra) reprinted the contribution written by the Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs for the silver jubilee edition of The Christian Science Monitor, the article being in reply to the Monitor's inquiry amongst political leaders on matters relating to world recovery.

The Washington correspondent of a Soerabaja paper extensively cited from the comments of one of the editorial staff of the Monitor on drought relief in Kansas; and on another occasion he praised the policy of our paper in dealing with the criminal problem by avoiding sensational news, while at the same time uncovering any abuses in law practice.
