The Lectures

Introductions to Lectures

Spokane, Washington (First Church).

Lecturer: Miss Margaret Murney Glenn; introduced by Mrs. Mary E. Dawkins, who said:—

Men always have been seeking a remedy for the betterment of human conditions, but they have sought this through human laws. God's spiritual law, which is ever-operative, ever-available, unchanging good, maintained and sustained by the infinite divine Principle, Love, is applicable to every need of man. In proportion as we gain a better understanding of God and His laws, we have our freedom from the bondage of human laws. If we are honest and sincere of purpose, each demonstration of the power of spiritual law over material beliefs gives us a better understanding of what it means to love God with our whole heart, soul, and mind, and to love our neighbor as ourselves.
