Lecture in The Mother Church
The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, announces a free public lecture on Christian Science by Richard J. Davis, C. S., a member of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship, in the Church Edifice, Falmouth, Norway, and St. Paul Streets, Back Bay, Monday, December 2, 1935, at 7.45 p.m. The public is cordially invited.
Notes from the Publishing House "A Good Will Gift"
This year The Christian Science Publishing Society is again offering a special combination of Christian Science literature known as "A Good Will Gift."
Many Christian Scientists throughout the Field have welcomed these special combinations as an opportunity to remember their friends at the holiday season with a gift, the lasting benefits of which can only be estimated by the gratitude which the donors feel for the blessings which have come to them through Christian Science.
The "Good Will Gift" consists of one month's subscription to The Christian Science Monitor, four issues of the Christian Science Sentinel, and one issue each of The Christian Science Journal and Quarterly (January-March, 1936) for the price of $1.00. The offer will be effective from December 1, 1935, to January 31, 1936, and subscriptions will be entered current any time between these dates.
Since the combination is made at a special price, no change can be made except that the German, French, Dutch, or Scandinavian edition of The Herald of Christian Science may be substituted for the Journal, and instead of the English Quarterly, any one of the Quarterlies in foreign languages will be sent upon request. Not more than one gift may be sent to any one individual, but a donor may send as many gifts as desired to various addresses. Of course, it is not expected that regular subscribers will discontinue their periodicals and substitute the gift offer.
