Your report of the opening of a church in Brighton "as a center for faith curing" attracts the attention of many religious people who have for a long time been in full agreement with your statement "that the nation needs fresh life infused into the tenets of Christianity."

It is noteworthy that you refer to a quotation given by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, on this important question of spiritual healing. The noncritical, impartial reference to this and to the sincerity of members of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, is much appreciated.

It is necessary to point out, however, that Christian Science does not attempt to combine the two categories (1) "divine healing and prayer cure" and (2) "mental science and faith-healing."
