Christian Science has been my only help for twelve years

Christian Science has been my only help for twelve years. I have been healed of stomach trouble, of the need of wearing a heavy belt, and of sinus infection of years' standing. I had had many physicians but had received no relief. Since taking up Christian Science, I have enjoyed good health and am able to do things which seemed impossible before.

At this time I should like to express my gratitude for a healing of one of my eyes. The optician asked me if I had had treatment for the eye. I said, "Yes, Christian Science treatment." He recommended that I continue the treatment, and return later for another examination. I called the practitioner, who took up work, and the following week I went back to the optician. The condition was improved and the Christian Science treatment was continued for several weeks more. The optician originally said that it would be a year before I could see clearly, but I am happy to report that the healing was complete within five weeks from the time I first saw him. He said that he had been practicing for thirty-five years but had never before seen this disease healed.

I was very grateful to lean more on God, and to know that sight is spiritual, not material. I give thanks to God, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and to Mary Baker Eddy, who revealed this wonderful truth! I am also grateful for my teacher, for the Association meetings each year, and for the practitioner who so lovingly helped me along the way.
