Your paper of December 24 contains an article about Christmas signed by "Brg.," in which, among other subjects, Christian Science is mentioned in a way which shows that the author of the article has not firsthand knowledge of this religion.

Christian Science is not a "Similireligion"; it rests exclusively on the Bible, and especially on the words and works of Christ Jesus. Consequently, people do not accept Christian Science because they believe that in it they have "found an excellent substitute for Christianity," but because Christian Science has given them a better understanding of Christianity than they formerly had, and has made it a vital religion to them. It has made the Bible their dearest study and their best guide and help in all the problems of life, in sickness as in health.
