It is with deep and sincere gratitude that I give this testimony.

A little over two years ago our son, then four years of age, was taken seriously ill. I asked for help in Christian Science, which was lovingly given, but there was no immediate relief, and in accordance with the law a doctor was informed of the case. He diagnosed the complaint as meningitis of the brain and advised an immediate operation, warning me that unless one was performed the boy would not live another twenty-four hours. This was at eleven o'clock at night. But I persistently held to the truth as taught in Christian Science and asked the doctor to give me until morning, as I wished to consult somebody else. I had told him previously of my interest in Christian Science. I then rushed off to the practitioner. She came back with me and help was again most lovingly given. The change in the boy was indeed wonderful to behold. Before the practitioner left his bedside we knew that he was healed. When the doctor arrived the following morning to take the boy to the hospital he was much astonished to find him well.

I am more grateful than words can ever express for all that Christian Science has done and is doing for me.
