Testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals have many times helped me over what seemed a dark moment. So it is with a heart full of gratitude that I write this.

As a child, I was brought into Christian Science when my mother was healed of stomach trouble. Several happy and fruitful years were spent in the Sunday school. Then, for a time, the pleasures of material life apparently led me away from the truth. Two years later there came a serious organic trouble which the doctors said could be relieved only by an operation. They also said that after the operation I could never hope to have children. I turned then to the everhealing truth—never to turn away again.

During the years, innumerable joyful healings have followed. With the help of Science, the births of two daughters were happy experiences, and the birth of a son, three years ago, was quite harmonious. All manner of so-called children's illnesses and contagious diseases have been overcome, including eye, ear, and tooth troubles, ivy poisoning, and the resultant injuries from bad falls; also there have been two instantaneous healings of scarlet fever. We have been beautifully protected in case of fire, and also when the home was struck by lightning. I am grateful for my own healing of the smoking habit.
