New Solo Settings for Mrs. Eddy's Hymns

The publication of eight new solo settings for Mrs. Eddy's hymns is announced by the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy. These solos are unusual because they are the result of an effort to bring out singable solos by reviewing musical manuscripts from the standpoint of the voice, rather than from the standpoint of the keyboard. Great care has been used in editing the manuscripts; and it is believed that these new solos will be warmly welcomed by soloists in our churches. The list of solos follows:

"Christmas Morn." James G. MacDermid. High voice, in D (D [E] to G); low voice, in B flat (B flat [C] to E flat). 60 cents.

"Love." Anita Gray Little. High voice, in D flat (E flat to F); low voice, in B flat (C to D). 60 cents.
