I have received so many blessings from Christian Science that I have desired for a long time to give some expression to the gratitude which is in my heart for its Discoverer and Founder. That I am alive and well today is because of what this Science has done for me.

The maternity doctor in attendance at my birth painted a very discouraging picture to my mother in regard to my future; but that forced her to turn to Christian Science for help, and I was saved. However, I continued to manifest a constitutional weakness, together with stomach trouble, for some time. The more I learned of Christian Science, the greater was my desire to grasp the understanding of its healing power. The reading of Science and Health brought more and more inspiration to my thought, and I cherished the explanations given by the practitioner. The stomach trouble finally disappeared while I was reading what Mrs. Eddy says on page 467 of the textbook about "the demands of the Science of Soul," and "the scientific statement of being" on the next page. That experience of healing and freedom brought me much joy and gratitude, and I became stronger and more robust.

A few years ago I was healed of a rupture through the help of Christian Science treatment, and I am now healthy and strong. Science and Health means more and more to me as I go on, and I am also more and more grateful to our dear Leader for giving us this great truth that makes us free.
