For some time the desire has been growing within me to express my gratitude, through the periodicals, for the countless blessings received from the study of Christian Science. Eleven years ago I gave up the use of materia medica and have since relied solely on Christian Science treatment.

I was quickly healed of the effects of an accident which might have resulted in my being scarred for life had it not been for Christian Science. Scars that might have taken months to heal and some that might never have been healed at all by material methods completely disappeared, and the flesh which was badly cut became normal in three days through our realization of the truth about God and man.

My gratitude for the healing of deafness at a Christian Science lecture is inexpressible. I have indeed found that "the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword."
