There is No Fear in Love

There is no fear in that deep tenderness,
That vast enfolding peace whose source is Love;
No cause for fear, e'en in the wilderness
Of time and space. Beneath, around, above,
There's only Love to feel and to express.

We limit life to years, and so grow old;
We limit space to miles, and therefore tire;
We limit love to hearts that give, or hold,
So fail to glimpse Love as infinitude—
Limitless, timeless, that doth all enfold.

For Love leaves nothing out of its sweet care;
The greatest as the least is cherished too.
No fear, no pain, no sorrow can be there—
This universe of Love is changeless, true,
Is here, is now, is always everywhere.
